Every year, the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) held a movie festival during Christmas day. The said movie festival is called the "Metro Manila Film Festvial" or MMFF 2011. The are seven official entries for the 2011 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) to compete for best movie for the year 2011. The MMFF 2011 has the criteria for all movie entries in the said film festival. MMDA will judge each official movie entry and there are different categories to be rated. For this year, all official entries for MMFF 2011 are made for the best movie to watch and they are being prepared to win the contest. Here are the Official Entries for Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2011:
- Enteng Ng Ina Mo - Produced by ABS-CBN Film Productions, Inc., Octo Arts Films, M-Zet TV Productions, and APT Productions. This film is directed by Tony Y. Reyes.
- Ang Panday 2 - Produced by Imus Productions and GMA Network Films production. The film is directed by Mac Alejandre.
- My Housebusband - Produced by Octo Arts Films. The movie is directed by Jose Javier Reyes.
- Segunda Mano - Produced by MJM Productions.
- Shake, Rattle and Roll 13 - The 13th installment of Regal Entertainment of longest film "Shake, Rattle and Roll under the directed by the three directors, Chris Martinez, Richard Somes and Jerrold Tarog.
- Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow - Produced by Studio 5. This movie is directed by Rodolfo "Jun" Lana Jr.
- Manila Kingpin: The Asiong Salonga Story - Produced by Scenema Concepts and Viva Films. This film is directed by Tikoy Aguiluz.
Watch out of this movies in December 25, 2011. The MMFF 2011 will start showing on December 25, 2011 at in any selected theater or cinema nationwide. The premiere of each movie is scheduled on their respected date.
